Joseph Pilates created a system which unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that creates strength, stretch and stability while promoting health and well being. Regular practice will help you reach improve and correct posture, as well as improve your breathing and outlook on life.
Pilates is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. After a run, golf game or heavy workout, Pilates will help your body re-center while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles you were just working on. This system is corrective and beneficial for both men and women alike.
At Atelier Pilates we offer lessons that offer comprehensive use of all the equipment designed by Mr. Pilates. At our location students will benefit from using the Universal Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, High Chair, all Barrels, Magic Circle, Foot Corrector, Ped-O-Pull and many other small pieces of apparatus developed to work the body in a balanced and uniform system.
